Lubricants

The purpose of the lubricant is to facilitate the relative movement of two parts by opposing their friction by direct contact. Thus, each industrial sector needs special lubricants to meet its particular and multiple requirements. Similarly, all mechanical components require special lubricants to protect equipment against wear and corrosion. There are two main families of lubricants, either of mineral (hydrocarbon) or synthetic origin.

TYPES OF SPECIAL LUBRICANTS

The special lubricants commonly used in the industry are :

NSF (H1, H2 or 3H) certified food grade lubricants, non-allergenic, ISO 21.469, Halal or Kosher
High performance oils: (mineral or synthetic in PAO, PAG, ESTER, SILICONE or PFPE…)
Special greases for : (high temperature, high speed, high loads, presence of water, dust).
Food spray
Assembly paste

APPLICATIONS OF SPECIAL LUBRICANTS

Specialty lubricants are generally used to lubricate gear motors, bearings operating at high speeds or extreme temperatures, chains, air compressors, cold compressors, vacuum pumps and control harnesses for rotating pipes.

Specialty lubricants are found primarily in the following industries:

Agri-food
Chemicals and phosphate processing
Cement and brick factories
